藝術家創作自述:

此次展出的作品《小夜曲：和諧》屬於我《新交響》系列的一部分，皆為相對小尺幅的繪畫創作。此系列運用了調色刀進行動作繪畫的技法，強調點、線與色彩等形式要素，每幅畫布上都覆蓋了豐富多樣的油彩色調。

《新交響》系列透過視覺語言表現出宇宙間充滿動感卻和諧共存的能量波動，猶如西方古典交響樂的磅礴與莊嚴；而《小夜曲》作品則營造出更為親密、細膩的氛圍。副標題「和諧」及畫中重複出現的兩至三個圓形母題，傳達出萬物相互連結的迫切性與和諧共存的必要性。

我的創作實踐，是以調色刀層層堆疊無數點與線，於畫布上揭示節奏與秩序，這個過程如同藏傳佛教徒轉動念珠時的冥想修行。每一次重複的筆觸，皆是一種釋放：放下對短暫形象的執著，邁向「無心」的境界——在那裡，自我消融於宇宙的能量之中，看似空無，卻極其充盈。這也如同一位古典音樂作曲家，專注地將每個樂器複雜的聲部精心融合為一體，奏出統一而和諧的交響樂章。

我相信，如佛教經典中的因陀羅網所示，宇宙萬物皆由無限延伸的能量網絡彼此連結，萬物互為映照、相互依存。因此，我的創作行為與最終的繪畫作品，既是我對人類與宇宙的和諧與平靜所發出的祈願，也是我所要傳遞的訊息。

ARTIST STATEMENT:

The works titled Serenade: Harmony, featured in this exhibition, are part of my New Symphony series and consist of relatively small-scale paintings. This series employs action painting techniques using a palette knife, emphasizing the formal elements of dots, lines, and colors. Each canvas is filled with a rich variety of oil paint hues.

While the New Symphony series visually expresses the dynamic yet harmonious waves of the universe—akin to the grandeur of Western classical symphony music—the Serenade pieces evoke a more intimate and delicate mood. The subtitle Harmony, along with the recurring motif of two or three circles in the artwork, conveys the urgency of interconnectedness and the need for harmony among all beings.

My artistic practice—layering countless dots and lines with a palette knife to reveal rhythm and order on the canvas—reflects the meditative devotion of a Tibetan Buddhist turning prayer beads. Each repeated gesture becomes an act of release: relinquishing attachment to fleeting forms and striving toward a state of No-mind, where the self dissolves into the universe’s energy—seemingly empty, yet profoundly full. It also reflects the unwavering dedication of a classical music composer, meticulously blending the intricate voices of each instrument into a cohesive and symphonic soundscape.

I believe, like Indra's Net in Buddhist scriptures, that this universe is interconnected by a vast web of waves, and all beings within it reflect and depend on each other. Therefore, my artistic creative act and the resulting paintings are my message and prayer for harmony and peace for humanity and the universe.
