《疑問集The Book of Questions》

美是盛夏的彩虹，而藝術是ㄧ套透過實踐才能成立的邏輯。也許是杜撰的夢境?還是閱讀經驗中的經歷: 在一片茫茫無際的沙漠中，不知為了追逐目標還是急於趕往復會，認知的主人逃命似的往前拚命跑，跑著、跑著猛然轉身!發現身上的東西延途散落ㄧ地！轉身沿路ㄧ一拾回的當下，卻怎麼也想不起來一路狂奔的原因為何？！或許是為了藉此追憶:本次個展年代最早的展出畫作是2007年，延續至今已是2019年，涵蓋了12年的創作歷程，並結合少數新作，以「12年精選展」的方式呈現，故稱作「12月裡的12年」(12 years within 12 months)。
「視窗」趨近於取代「心窗」是目前身處世代的危機之一，當感觀缺少了覺知，就會變成只是單純的資訊轟炸。感恩在這個充滿甜美想像的12月，讓我有機會透過本次個展，轉身重溫自2007年起歷經12年的部分創作段落，為下一個未知的12年(×n次方)註記。

Splendor is the midsummer rainbow, and art is a set of logic that is found only through practice. Is the fantasy dream up or part of a journey of reading experience? In the boundless expanse of the desert, the ‘owner of cognitive subject’ ran forward as if running for his life. It was not known whether he was chasing after a target or rushing to a meeting. He ran and ran and turned around suddenly to discover his belongings scattered all over the ground! He turned back and picked up his things along the road. Try as he might, he could not recall the reason for his mad dash - perhaps it was an excuse just to remember. For this exhibit, the earliest paintings were completed in 2007. As of now, 2019, it has been a 12-year creative journey. Some new paintings are also included, presenting a 12-year selective exhibition. Thus it is titled “12 years within 12 months”.

The latest trend of replacing “window of the soul” with “window of the sight” is the modern life crisis. When sensory perception is deprived of awareness, it is merely an information explosion. This December full of sweet imagination, through this exhibition I am grateful to have an opportunity to turn around and revisit some creative passages of the last 12 years since 2007. It will become a footnote for the next unknown 12 years (to the xn power).
